AUCTION PLANS - JOIN THE FUN!

Riding on the great success we enjoyed last year, everyone on the 2013 Auction Team Leigh Hoftiezer, Ginny Chiaverina, Dean Johnson, Ruth Duenk, and Brian Monroe) has signed up to continue working together in 2014. We have already reserved a mid-Spring date that doesn't conflict with the church calendar and now are gathering energy before heading into the next auction season.
There are several limited-term tasks and responsibilities that we hope to find additional people to handle. These are:
Food committee - working within a budget and with the head count estimate provided by the auction team, purchase, prepare, and serve food and drink during the auction. This will be headed by Nancy Neumann.
Business Sponsorships - There are companies in our area that are glad to donate to non-profits if only they are formally asked. There are ways to get sport event tickets donated, also.
Advertising Revenue - Businesses in our area have an opportunity to advertise in our auction brochure and have their ad projected during the pre-live auction slide show, garnering interest from auction attendees.
Ticket sales - create event tickets, coordinate advance sales on Sunday morning, keep list of advance sales ticket holders, handle income from advance sales, communicate income amounts with auction chair
