UCN Anthony/Stanton Fellowship Hall

Our next week of hosting Ozaukee County resident families and single women who are experiencing temporary homelessness is fast approaching. We will be providing hospitality the week of JANUARY 28 – FEBRUARY 4. Currently there is one family in shelter; a single mother and her teenage son.  UCN is one of about 20 Ozaukee County churches participating in this interfaith effort.  In addition to providing shelter, Family Promise of Ozaukee is now the lead agency in the county for homelessness prevention through rapid rehousing and other prevention efforts.

There are no government services for shelter in Ozaukee County and the county directs all inquiries to Family Promise.

UCN members should be especially proud since our church led efforts to get this program started in Ozaukee County starting back in 2013 and culminating in Family Promise of Ozaukee opening its doors in 2015.

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED to provide food and hospitality as well as staying overnight – please check the sign-up sheets on the bulletin board located in the fellowship hall downstairs.

Thank you for your loving hospitality given to your neighbors in need!
