“The Spirituality of My Work or….COPE Services: Chipping Away at Isolation, Desperation and Stigma One Call at a Time,” Cecile Duhnke

Cecile will talk about her work as Executive Director at COPE Services, what it’s like to take calls on the Hotline, her passion around mental health education and the work ahead.

Cecile Duhnke is Executive Director of COPE Services, a nonprofit social service agency dedicated to providing emotional support and crisis intervention to people in the Greater Milwaukee area and beyond. COPE is located in Grafton, Wis. Cecile has a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from George Washington University and a master’s degree in business from University of Phoenix.  She started attending Unitarian Church North in 2013 shortly after moving to the area with her husband Seth and daughter Grace. Her mother-in-law Daphne Carney is a longtime member of UCN.
