UCN Clara Barton Room

On the Sundays before elections we will have an “election forum” after the service in Barton, downstairs at UCN. We’ll start at 11:30 am so people can get snacks during the social hour (and bring them to the meeting!). We will aim at keeping the discussion to about 30 minutes, though people are welcome to stay longer if they wish.

The election-forum Sundays will be:

  •   April 5th (to discuss the Spring Election and Presidential Preference Primary on Tuesday, April 7th)
  •   August 9th (to discuss the Partisan Primary on Tuesday, August 11th)
  •   November 1st (to discuss the General and Presidential Election on Tuesday, November 3rd)

I hope to see many of you there, especially at our first one on Sunday, April 5th.

But regardless of whether you can attend these forums–and regardless of who you end up voting for–please remember to vote! After all, our 5th UU Principle says we affirm and promote “the right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large.”
