Nominations for Unitarian Church North Fund for Social Justice

This fund was created at UCN in 2000, following the state legislature’s decision in the fall of 1999, to send tax-rebate checks to WI taxpayers, rather than using that $700,000,000.00 for programs that would benefit those in need of the most basic resources, such as food, affordable housing, health care, and childcare, for example. UCN members pooled their tax-rebate checks together in the amount of $10,000.00 to start up the Fund. Annual disbursements of the interest are made unless there is no nomination in any given year.

Only those nominations brought forward by UCN members will be considered. Click on the attached PDF for guidelines and the form to fill out. Nominations must be received in the UCN office no later than January 15, 2021.
