“Seeing the Abilities in Disabilities,” Dawn Goralski

Dawn will be sharing stories of working with individuals with “disabilities,” how she sees, accepts, includes and loves those with different abilities.

Dawn Goralski has been employed as an Instructional Tech and Special Education Aide for 22 years in the West Bend School District.  For 17 years, her family has been an Adult Family Home provider for individuals with disabilities; (They are paid to provide two people with disabilities with room, board and some services, kind of like adult foster care.)  For the past five years she has operated a recreational/community program for people with special needs.  Dawn is mother of three and grandmother of three.  She had a niece born with a severe disability, who recently passed on.  Her mission is to inspire others to see, accept and work with the abilities of people with special needs.
