All Things RE! October ’22
Religious education at Unitarian Church North is off and running! September 18th marked the beginning of the new RE year with three classes for our children and youth. Many thanks to the volunteers who are teaching the classes. They are:
4K-4th grade (Love Surrounds Us) - Katie Egan-Bruhy, Brian Bunzel, Jane Cartwright, Emily Orser, and Kas Blain.
5th-8th grade (World Religions) – Janet Jensen, Betsy Muellenbach, Mark Bruhy, and Leigh Hoftiezer.
High School (Coming of Age) – Peggy Creer
Things to remember about RE at UCN:
1. Classes are held on the first and third Sundays of each month. Intergenerational services are held on the 5th Sunday of each month.
2. There is no charge for R.E.! Please know that your children are welcome to attend any or all classes and they can bring a friend, as well.
3. Children are in the sanctuary until 10:30 at which time they are taken to their classes with the teachers.

5. Coming of Age is currently scheduled for 10:00 – 11:30 in the Clara Barton room.
6. Check the bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall for RE updates and upcoming events, as well as the Northliner and the website.
Trunk-or-Treat is coming soon!
Join us on Sunday, October 30th at 11 AM for our second annual Trunk or Treat event! We are inviting costumed children to walk through our parking lot, stop at cars that have decorated trunks, and receive candy and play games at various stops along the way. There will be costume and vehicle decorating contests and prizes. Hot dogs, mac and cheese, and other lunch goodies will be provided for our hungry trick or treaters.
Set up will begin at 11 AM, with lunch and treating at noon. Electricity will be available for those who might want to animate their trunks. Should inclement weather be at issue, we will move the festivities into the Fellowship Hall.
Please let us know if you can join us, as a trunk participant or
with your trick or treaters so we can plan food accordingly.
