Share the Plate for January and February, 2023
Nominated by Julie Konik and UCN’s new Animal Ministry Committee, the Humane Society, Wisconsin Chapter – Ozaukee Campus is the Share the Plate recipient for January and February 2023. The mission of the Humane Society of the United States has always been to make a difference for animals and the people who love them. Founded in 1879, the Wisconsin Humane Society has been saving the lives of animals in need for more than 140 years. WHS is an independent, 501©(3) nonprofit organization and operates animal shelters in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Door and Brown Counties, as well as a spay-neuter clinic in West Allis.
WHS annually serves 40,000 animals. The Ozaukee Campus, opened in March 2011, has compassionately contributed to the care of many of those animals, including adoption, foster placements, vaccinations and microchipping, dog and puppy behavior training, youth programs, outreach programming, a pet food bank, and pet loss support counseling. They also provide compassionate euthanasia for animals at the end of their lives. Your donation will go directly to the Wisconsin Humane Society - Ozaukee County Campus. Your support is very much appreciated.
